Itinerary of 12 Day Tour from Casablanca to Marrakech
Day 1: Arrival at Mohamed V Airport
Upon your arrival at Casablanca Airport, your driver from Gorgeous Morocco Tours will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. You’ll also have the chance to visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque. Overnight in Casablanca.
Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen
After breakfast at your hotel, we will depart for Chefchaouen, stopping first in Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Following our visit, we’ll continue to the stunning blue city, passing through Ouezzan and various charming Rif villages. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes
Today, we’ll continue our journey to Fes, with stops at the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis and the historical city of Meknes. We will arrive in Fes by early evening and drop you off at your hotel.
Day 4: Guided Tour of Fes
At 9:30 AM, your local guide will pick you up from your hotel for a guided tour of the fascinating old city of Fes el Bali. Experience the rich culture and history that this ancient city offers. After finishing the visit , we’ll transfer you back to your Hotel to Relax.
Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga
After an early breakfast around 8:00 AM, your driver will collect you from your accommodation in Fes. We’ll head toward the Erg Chebbi Sahara Desert, passing through Ifrane, known as “the Switzerland of Morocco.” Next, we’ll visit the cedar forest to spot wild monkeys. Lunch will be enjoyed in Midelt at a local restaurant. Afterward, we’ll travel through the stunning Ziz Valley and arrive in Merzouga around 4 PM. From here, embark on a camel ride across the Sahara, followed by an overnight stay in a luxury camp, complete with dinner and Berber music under the stars.
Day 6: Discovering Erg Chebbi Sand Dunes
Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise and capture stunning photos. After breakfast and a shower in your camp, we’ll embark on an off-road adventure around the Erg Chebbi dunes. This is a perfect opportunity to meet nomads and learn about their authentic way of life. In the afternoon, enjoy the vibrant sounds of Berber drumming and Gnawa music in Khamlia town before returning to your hotel for some rest.
Day 7: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
After breakfast, we’ll leave for Tinghir, passing through Alnif and arriving at the impressive Todra Gorges, a popular destination for rock climbers. Finally, we’ll reach Dades Valley, where you’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night.
Day 8: Dades Valley – Kelaat M’Gouna – Skoura – Ouarzazate
After breakfast at your hotel, we’ll drive to Ouarzazate, taking the scenic route through the Road of 1,000 Kasbahs. We will visit Rose Valley, Skoura Valley, and the historical site of Amridil. In the afternoon, we will arrive in Ouarzazate, known as the “City of Movies,” and overnight there.
Day 9: Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – High Atlas – Marrakech
This morning, we will continue our journey toward Marrakech, visiting the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1987. After exploring, we’ll cross the majestic Atlas Mountains, making several stops for breathtaking panoramic views. Arrival in Marrakech will be in the evening, and we’ll drop you off at your accommodation.
Day 10: Marrakech Sightseeing
In the morning, your local guide will pick you up from your riad at 9:30 AM to explore the vibrant city of Marrakech. The tour includes visits to key attractions such as Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, Koutoubia Mosque, and the beautiful Menara and Majorelle Gardens. In the afternoon, we’ll return you to your riad.
Day 11: Day Trip to Essaouira
After breakfast at your riad, your driver will pick you up for a trip to Essaouira, also known as Mogador, “the wind city.” On the way, we will pass through Chichaoua, making a stop for a break. You’ll have the opportunity to visit Argan cooperatives and witness goats climbing trees. Arriving in Essaouira in the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing day by the seaside, with options for various activities like surfing, camel riding, or quad biking.
Day 12: Airport Transfer / End of 12-Day Tour from Casablanca
