First Day: Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Errachidia – Erfoud – Merzouga

Your journey begins at 8:30 AM with pickup from your riad or hotel in Fes. Drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains and stop in Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Then continue to Azrou, where you’ll explore the cedar forest and see Barbary macaques.

Stop for lunch in Midelt, a town surrounded by apple orchards. The drive continues through the scenic Ziz Valley, with its dramatic landscapes and lush palm groves, before arriving in Erfoud, the gateway to the Sahara.
