Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben haddou Kasbah – Ouarzazate – Dades valley
Your driver from Gorgeous Morocco tours company will pick you up from your hotel/riad in Marrakech. Then drive to Ouarzazate through the dramatic Tizi ‘n’ Tichka pass the highest major mountain pass in africa (2260m). Over the High Atlas Mountains, appreciating the beauty of the landscape through Berber villages.
Arriving at the famous Airt ben Haddou Kasbah ,the largest one in Morocco and UNESCO World Eritage Site since 1987. A places where; we will have lunch before we continue on to Dades Gorge via Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa”. After that along the (Road of the thousand Kasbahs) ,passing by Kalaat Mgouna, “the rose’s city” known for the production of rose water roses and its annual festival ( May ),before arriving at Dades valley Overnight at Hotel/Riad.
Day 2: Dades valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga
After a delicious breakfast, we’ll drive through the valley to see the amazing rock formation. And take a break in one of the nice spots of the gorges, Leaving the Dades valley towards Tinghir and the Todra valley., we’ll see the panoramic views of the old mud Berber villages with its palm groves overlooking the valley. Arriving at the todgha Gorge, you’ll walk under high red cliff raised up to (300m)at its narrowest point.Continuing on to Erfoud and Rissani lunch will be on the way afterwards, we’ll leave to Sahara Desert of Merzouga. Enjoy a sunset camel trekking that takes 1 hour to the camp. In addition, you’ll spend a magical night under the stars with a tasty dinner.
Day 3 : Merzouga desert and Camel trek
Today we’ll start exploring the area, we begin by visiting the village of black people originaly from Sudan. And we enjoy their music, the way they live, after that we will drive to Miffis Mines to explore how they work over there before getting behind the Dunes.
In a full desert with charming views where will sit for some tea with the berber bedouins. Before returning back to the hotel,after a cup of tea your local guides will teach you how to mount and dismount and other handy camel-related. Safety tips then you begin exploring the mysterious sand of the Erg-Chebbi.over night in a berber tent.
Day 4 : Merzouga – Alnif – Ouarzazte – Ouarzazate
Waking up early to watch the best sunrise of your life, you will start casting different shadows and colours over the dunes. Then, we return to our hotel, have breakfast and then travel to Ouarzazate. Next to tazarine , stop in the berber town called nkob for lunch before crossing the anti atlas and gorgeous Daraa valley, the longest in Morocco well knows for plenty forests of date trees , arriving Ouarazate late time.Overnight stay in a riad or hotel.
Day 5: Ouarzazate – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
Before heading back to Marrakech you’ll visit the architectural wonder of Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate, the atlas studios then, we Continue to Marrakech through the high Atlas Mountains.Arriving Marrakech late afternoon for the end of the 5 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga Desert.
