ITINERARY: 3 day 2 nights Desert tour Marrakech to Fes
Day 1: Marrakech – atlas Mountains – Ouarzazate – Dades valley
Your driver from Gorgeous Morocco tours company, will pick you up from your accomodation in Marrakech. Next, you start our 3 day sahara tour towards Dades valley. First, we will pass through the majistic atlas Mountains including breaks till Aitbenhaddou kasbah.
We’ll get there around midday for having a deliciouse lunch,after that you’ll start a guided walking tour. To the most historical and attractive sight in Morocco. In addition Aitbenhaddou kasbah is the main visit of today, and then we keep our drive through the center of Ouarzazate city. ( The hollywood of africa).
So many movies were filmed there including Gladiatore, Game of trans and Lawrance of arabia. We will reach Dades valley via Roses valley around 5pm and drop you off in your hotel overlooking Beautifull valley, of Boumalen Dades.
Day 2: Dades valley – Todra gorge – Alnif – Rissani – Merzouga
In the morning time after your breakfast, we head to Merzouga sahara desert. You’ll visit Todra gorge. Its a Famous destination for the rock climbing. We drive via the amazing anti atlas mountains. We’ll stop in Alnif town for lunch.
We’ll drive to Rissani city « the gate of the sahara desert ». We’ll have a short waking tour into its ancient and tradicional market, the city has 3 weekly markets. Where the nomads they get their nessisaries, its located in 36 km from the Erg chebbi dunes.
Our arrival to Merzouga sahara about 4pm, and then have a shortbreak for rest in a guest house / hotel. And After that you start your camel ride in the dunes towards your camp. Experience an amazing sunset in middle of nowhere. The camel ride takes around 1 hour to your camp. Spend a romantic night under the starry sky and listen to berber drumming music around the camp fire.
Day 3: Merzouga- Erfoud-Ziz valley-Errachidia-Midelt-Timahdit-Azrou-Ifrane-Fes
Today, We recommend you to wake up early morning to watch a mesmerizing sunrise in the golden dunes. After your breakfast and shower, we’ll head to Fes which will takes few hours driving today 8h. Including of cours some stops for visiting new attractions along the way. Our fisrt visit is ”Ziz valley palmtrees”.
Next to Midelt via Rich and Errachidia ,You’ll have lunch in Midelt ( the city of apples). After we continue to The cedar forest in Azrou to see some barbary apes monkies. Our next stop it will be in Ifrane » Switzerland of Morocco ».
