➥ ITINERARY: Day trip from Marrakech to Agafay Desert
You will have the chance to enjoy several outdoor activities just a few hours away from the city. Your driver, from Gorgeous Morocco Tours, will pick you up from your riad or hotel in Marrakech around 9:00 a.m. Then, we’ll head towards the picturesque village of Lalla Takerkoust, where you’ll get to visit its impressive dam.
From there, your adventure truly begins as you embark on an exciting ATV quad biking tour towards the Agafay hills, guided by an experienced local. Along the way, you’ll stop to capture beautiful photos of the breathtaking scenery. In addition, to quad biking, this day trip also includes a camel ride around Lalla Takerkoust Dam. The ride lasts for about an hour, during which your guide will provide you with traditional Berber attire for a more authentic experience.
Then, we’ll make our way back to Marrakech by the afternoon. However, if you wish to extend your stay, you can book an overnight experience in this amazing place. Then, we offer luxurious camping in Agafay, complete with a camel ride and a serene desert atmosphere just outside Marrakech.
