ITINERARY Of THE 8 DAYS TOUR
Day 1 : Casablanca airport-Hotel in the same city
Your driver from Gorgeous Morocco Tours, will be waiting for you in Mohamed V Airport. To pick you up, you’ll visit Hassan 2 Mosque . It is the second largest mosque in Africa After the Algiers grand mosque, and the 7th largest in the world. Its minaret is the world’s second tallest minaret at 210 metres. Completed in 1993, then transfer you to your hotel in Casablanca. B&B
Day 2 : Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen
In the morning time, your driver will pick you up from lobby of the hotel at 8:30, then drive to Chefchaouen. You’ll pass by Rabat » the Moroccan capital ». Visit of the Oudayas kasbah, Hassan tower, Next we head to the blue city of Morocco passing by Rif Ouezzan and Rif mounatains.
We’ll get to the city early evening, and drop off at your Hotel/riad. You are allowed to have your first concatct with the blue city, the town is pretty small and locals are friendly. Overnight in Chefchaouen at your hotel B&B.
Day 3 : Chefchaouen sightseeing-Fes
You will have chance to explore the blue city in a half day. The beauty of Chefchaouen’s mountainous surroundings are enhanced by the contrast of the brightly painted medina (old town). It is this beauty and the relaxed atmosphere of the town that makes Chefchaouen very attractive to visitors.,
After the visit we continue our journey to Fes, through the green Rif mountains, we’ll have a stop at Sidi chahed dum. Finally, we’ll get to Fes around evening drop your off at your amazing authentic riad in the medina. B&B.
Day 4 : Fes – Fes (Sightseeing)
Your local guide will pick you up from your Riad, then start your walking tour. To explore the ancient Medina of Fes. Is an ancient walled medina with narrow, car-free streets and ornamented entryways like Bab Guissa. Later the Blue Gate. Vast 9th-century Karaouiyne University is tiled in vivid painted ceramics, while the towering R’cif Mosque overlooks a lively market square. Souk vendors specialize in perfumes, spices, lamps, and leather, and dining choices range from street kebabs to stylish gourmet restaurants. The lunch will be in somwhere at the old city with your local guide, afterwards you’ll be back to your riad afternoon to take rest. B&B
Day 5 : Fes-Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Errachidia – Erfoud -Merzouga
Morning time, your driver will pick you up from your riad, and drive to Ifrane city. » the Switzerland of Morocco » passing by Azrou’s cedar forest to see some barbary apes, next we head to Midelt » apples city ». After lunch in the same town, we keep driving towards Errachidia we’ll include a Stop to visit Ziz valley.
The second largest one in Morocco, We get to Merzouga sahara desert around 4pm. Ride a camel in the dunes and spend the night under a nomadic berber camp and a starry sky.The camel ride last to 1 hour on the camel including a special stop in middle of sahara to see the sunset. At night after your dinner you’ll enjoy the berber drums music around your campfire. » dinner & breakfast included »
Day 6 : Merzouga-Merzouga (Sightseeing)
You’ll wake early morning to watch the sunrise in high dunes nearby your camp, After that, you’ll have breakfast. Then we start an offroad adventure around Merzouga to explore the area and go deeply to visit the nomads. You’ll have a great opportunity to have a set with local nomads from the sahara who will invite us for a deliciouse cup of tea. After our visit to the nomads, we keep our adventure in the black desert towards Mifis mines.You’ll get to know and explore different typs of minerals found the in the area by local workers. During midday you’ll have lunch in a local berber town called Khamlia, at the same time you can visit a musical band of Gnawa » optional ». Afternon time around 3pm we’ll transfer you to your hotel in Merzouga, Night at Riad or hoteln, overlooking the dunes. » dinner breakfast included »
Day 7 : Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif-Todra gorges – Dades valley
After your breakfast in your hotel, we’ll start our trip around 9am, we’ll head to Dades valley. passing by Rissani city to explore its amazing authentic weekly market. A short stop in Alnif town for a break in a cofee, then we reach Todra Gorge. »A famouse destination for rock climbing », W’ll have lunch in the same town, finally we arrive Boumaln dades. Overnight at your hotel, overlooking dades valley.
Day 8 : Dades valley – Rose valley – Ouarzazate -Aibenhaddou – High atlas – Marrakech
We’ll continue our last day of tour to Marrakech, Pick up from your hotel in Dades at 8:30am. Next we head to Marrakech, On our way you’ll visit the rose valley, the road of thousand kasbahs along the way. Till Ouarzazate city. Its the hollywood of africa, because of the movies they filmed in the city. Our most interesting visit for today is, Aitbenhaddou kasbah.
Its a UNISCO site since 1987. many movies were filmed in this amazing village, including: Gladiator, Game of trans, lawrence of arabia and more. After our visit and lunch in the town, we’ll cross the majistic atlas mountains through Tizi Ntichka pass » 2260m).
On the way you’ll have the opportunity to visit the Argan cooperative, and exploring how this localy made by berber women. Finally, we reach Marrakech early evening and drop you off in your riad/Hotel. End of our 8 days tour from Casablanca to Marrakech.
