🚌 Itinerary: 10 days from Tangier to Marrakech
Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen
Our 10 days tour to Marrakech starts from tangier then we will drive through the RIF mountains and by the city of Ouazzan. Famous with the typical Moroccan coat JELLABA. Later in the afternoon you will attend the sunset in the outdoors of the blue city Chefchaouen the icon of the RIF. Overnight at your riad in Chefchaouen.
Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes
After Your breakfast in the hotel, our journey will start towards Volubilis crossing Ouezan and other Rif villages, in Volubilis. Then we stop to discover the roman ruins and learn about the archeological site. After the visit of the ruins we will shift our way to Meknes city the 17 th century heritage where we will stop for lunch hang around the historical huge walls of the medina , Bab El Mansour and enjoy a visit of Moulay Ismail’s mausoluem. overnight in Fes.
Day 3: Fes guided tour
Today you’ll Explore the authentic medina of Fes and its narrow cobbled streets are filled with ancient mosques and towering green glazed minarets. The tour will includes olso a visit to the tanneries and the ceramic cooperative to see traditional Moroccan crafts.Overnight at hotel/riad.
Day 4 : Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
Departure heading Merzouga desert via Ifrane (switzerland of morocco) and then to the Middle Atlas mountains. Stopping by cedar forest, you will be able to take some fascinating photos with the Barbarian Apes. The drive continue through the Atlas Mountains enjoying the landscapes of Midelt, After lunch we’ll continue our journey through the Ziz Valley to Erfoud, Rissani and Merzouga.On our arrival there will be welcomed by a cup of tea. Overnight at the Hotel/Riad.
Day 5: Merzouga sighseeing tour and camel trek
After breakfast we’ll start exploring the area, we will begin by visiting the village of black people originaly from Mali. To enjoy their music and the way they live.After that we will drive to Miffis Mines to explore how they work. Over there before getting behind the Dunes in a full desert with charming views.
Then returning back to the hotel,after a cup of tea your local guides will teach you how to mount and dismount and other handy camel related safety tips then you begin exploring the mysterious sand sea of the Erg-Chebbi.Overnight at a berber tent.
Day 6 : Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Todra – Dades valley
Early morning, you’ll have chance to wake up and see an amazing sunrise into the Erg chebbi sand dunes. Later on after your breakfast, we keep our drive towards Rissani city to explore its authentic market in Morocco. Our next stop will be at Alnif town for rest, then we head to Todra gorge to visit the amazing Gorges, The town is well known by rock climbers and hiking. After lunch in the same town, we keep our drive to Dades vally where you’ll spend the night in a beautifull hotel or Riad.
Day 7: Dades valley – Skoura valley – Ouarzazate – Hight atlas – Marrakech
Today we’ll drive to Marrakech through Ouarzazate City. Passing through the road of the 1000 Kasbahs ”.then We’ll drive through “the city of roses”, known for the production of the rose water.Our journey will Continue to Ouarzazat, “the Hollywood of Africa”.
The lunch will be in Ait Ben Haddou kasbah,(the UNESCO heritage site since 1987)and the largest Kasbah in Morocco,many movies have been filmed there, including The Mummy, Gladiator,our journey,will continue through the major haighest pass in Africa (2260m), over the High Atlas Mountains, before arriving to Marrakech, where the tour ends.
Day 8: Marrakech sighseeing
Morning time, your Local guide will pick you up from the Hotel to discover the most exotic places of Marrakech. The famous Jamaa El fna square, Majorelle Gardens, Saadianas Tombs with a stroll in the labyrinth of the narrow streets of the Medina amongst its famous Souks. Overnight at hotel/riad.
Day 9 : Marrakech to Essaouira
Today we deparate to Essaouira known by its old Portuguese name as “Mogador” on our way we might be lucky to pass by some goats climbing argan trees.
Upon arrival,we will have lunch in a Moroccan way, freshly fishes. In the afternoon, you will have a city tour around the alleys of the medina inclouding its handicrafts, silver jewelry and inlaid wood of Thuja. Overnight at hotel/riad.
Day 10 : Essaouira – Marrakech
In the last day of the 10 days Morocco Trip from Tangier, we’ll transfer you to the Airport according to your flight deparature. To the Menara Airport in the red city of Marrakech.
