Your tour begins at 8:30 AM with pickup from your riad in Fes. Your first stop is Ifrane, a city known for its clean streets and alpine-style architecture, giving it the nickname “Switzerland of Morocco.” Afterward, visit Azrou’s cedar forest, where you’ll encounter the playful Barbary macaques.
The journey continues with a lunch stop in Midelt, a town famous for its apple orchards and marble. Next, head to Errachidia and pass through the breathtaking Ziz Valley and its lush palm groves, before arriving in Erfoud. By 4 PM, you’ll reach Merzouga, where you’ll take a short rest at a guesthouse before starting your hour-long camel trek into the desert.
