Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen – Fes

Your driver from Gorgeous Morocco Tours will meet you at Tangier Port or Airport. Begin your journey through the Rif Mountains and Tetouan, enjoying breathtaking views until you reach the charming blue town of Chefchaouen, nestled at the foot of the mountains.

Explore the Spanish-style square, browse local craft shops, and enjoy lunch at a rooftop café. In the afternoon, we continue to Fes, where you’ll spend the night in a traditional riad.

Day 2: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

After breakfast, head south toward the Middle Atlas, passing through Ifrane and Azrou. Stop in the cedar forest to see wild Barbary apes before continuing through Midelt and the dramatic Ziz Gorges.

As you approach Errachidia, the scenery shifts from mountains to desert. Travel along the lush Ziz Valley to Erfoud, Rissani, and finally Merzouga. After a welcome mint tea, ride camels into the Erg Chebbi Dunes, the tallest in North Africa.

Arrive at your Berber desert camp for a night under the stars, complete with a traditional dinner and live Berber drumming.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

Wake early to witness a stunning desert sunrise. After breakfast and a shower at the camp, visit the lively town of Rissani, home to one of Morocco’s most authentic markets (held on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays).

Continue through Alnif and head to Todra Gorge, known for its dramatic rock walls and scenic hiking paths. End your day in the Dades Valley, where you’ll spend the night in a hotel with panoramic views.

Day 4: Dades Valley – Ait Benhaddou – High Atlas – Marrakech

After breakfast, journey to Marrakech with a visit to the historic Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a fortified village and UNESCO site used in many famous films.

Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m). Arrive in Marrakech by early evening, where your driver will drop you at your hotel or riad.
