Itinerary of the Morocco student tour in 3 days to Merzouga dunes

Day 1: Marrakech - High Atlas Mountains - Aitbanhaddou - Skoura - Dades - 4h 22min { 257 km｝

The Morocco student tour begins with an early departure from Marrakech, crossing the winding roads of the High Atlas Mountains and enjoying panoramic views from the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Along the way, you will discover traditional Berber villages and stop for photos at scenic spots. After visiting the film-studio city of Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” the journey continues through the Valley of Roses before arriving at the beautiful Dades Valley, where you will spend the night surrounded by unique rock formations and kasbahs.

Day 2: Dades Valley - Todra Canyon- Erfoud - Merzouga Desert - 4h 19min ｛302 km｝

After breakfast, you will travel towards the impressive Todra Gorge, famous for its dramatic cliffs and popular climbing paths. Enjoy some free time to walk through the canyon and take photos. The trip continues through Erfoud, the capital of fossils, before reaching Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara. Here, your camel guide will take you across the golden dunes for a magical sunset ride. You will spend the night in a desert camp, enjoying music, dinner, and an unforgettable night under the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga - Nkoub- Draa Valley - Anti Atlas - High Atlas - Marrakech -  ｛555 km｝

Early in the morning your’ll have chance to wake up early and admire the sunrise over the dunes, after breakfast and shower, you’ll  begin the journey back to Marrakech. The route passes through Alnif and continues into the lush Draa Valley, known for its endless palm groves and ancient kasbahs. You will cross the Anti-Atlas Mountains and travel back through the High Atlas, arriving in Marrakech in the evening with wonderful memories, new friends, and an inspiring Sahara experience.
