Day 1 : Marrakech- atlas mountains-Ouarzazate- Dades valley
After exploring this UNESCO World Heritage site, we will continue our journey through Ouarzazate, known for its renowned cinema studios. As we move further, we will pass by the lush Skoura Valley and the beautiful Roses Valley before reaching Boumalne Dades, where we will spend the night. In addition, day offers a perfect blend of culture and breathtaking landscapes.
Day 2: Dades valley- Todra gorge-Erfoud-Erg chebbi Merzouga sahara
On the second day of our 4 day desert tour, we will journey towards the breathtaking Merzouga Sahara, passing through the stunning Todra Gorge, a famous destination for rock climbing. After enough time exploring this incredible site, we will continue our drive towards Erfoud, passing by the towns of Tinjdad and Jorf along the way. There will also be an opportunity to visit a fossil workshop in Erfoud, known as the “City of Fossils.”
We will arrive in Merzouga around 4:00 p.m., where your camel ride into the golden dunes will begin. Next, you’ll witness a magical sunset over the dunes, adding a surreal charm to the experience. Upon reaching the desert camp, you’ll enjoy a traditional Berber dinner, followed by classic Berber drumming music around the campfire. For the night, you will rest in a private tent, but if you wish, you can choose to sleep under the stars, as it’s completely safe.
Day 3: Merzouga desert – Rissani – Alnif- Draa valley – anti atlas – Ouarzazate
Early in the morning, you will wake up to witness the stunning sunrise from the high dune near your camp, a truly magical way to start the day. Afterwards, we will leave the Sahara and begin our journey towards Ouarzazate, passing through Rissani’s ancient weekly market. If you’re lucky, you can enjoy a short walking tour with your guide in this authentic city, which is also known as the gateway to the Sahara Desert and the last city before reaching the Erg Chebbi dunes.
additionally, we will continue driving through the scenic Draa Valley, passing by the towns of Alnif, Tazarine, and Nkob. After that, lunchtime will be in the charming city of Agdez, where you will discover the largest palm grove in Morocco, known as the Draa Valley. Along the way, we’ll make a few stops in the Anti-Atlas Mountains to appreciate the stunning landscape. Finally, we’ll arrive in Ouarzazate around 5:30 p.m., where we will spend the night in a comfortable hotel.
Day 4: Ouarzazate – Telouet- atlas Mountains- Marrakech
Today marks the final day of our 4 day Sahara desert tour. First, driver will pick you up from your hotel around 9:00 a.m., and we will begin our journey back to Marrakech. Along the way, we’ll pass through the scenic Telouet and the majestic Atlas Mountains. Although it’s just a few hours’ drive to Marrakech, we’ll make a stop to visit a Berber cooperative that specializes in producing Argan and Cactus oils.
This is the perfect opportunity to purchase pure Argan oil if you are interested in taking home a unique and authentic Moroccan product. Then, we reach Marrakech, we will drop you off at your desired location, whether it’s your hotel, Menara Airport, the railway station, or the bus station.
