Day 1: Chefchaouen to Midelt via Meknes – Middle Atlas – Cedar Forest
After breakfast at your riad, you’ll depart Chefchaouen, heading towards Azrou, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Along the way, you’ll enjoy views of the Middle and High Atlas Mountains. A stop in Azrou lets you explore the famous cedar forest, home to Barbary apes. Continuing through the scenic Atlas hills, you’ll reach Midelt for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, you’ll head to the Ziz Valley and Gorge, traveling through the High Atlas. Descend along the Ziz River into the desert, enjoying panoramic views of gorges and date palm groves. Passing Erfoud, known for fossils, you’ll reach Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi dunes. A camel ride takes you into the desert to watch the sunset. Overnight in a private Berber tent under the stars.
Day 3: Merzouga to Marrakech via Ouarzazate – High Atlas
After breakfast, you’ll ride back to Merzouga, where your driver will take you to Marrakech. Stop for lunch in Ouarzazate, then continue through the High Atlas Mountains. Arrive in Marrakech by 6:00 PM, concluding your 3-day desert tour from Chefchaouen to Marrakech.
