Around 3:30–4:00 PM – Arrival at the Desert Edge
Guests arrive at the edge of the dunes (Merzouga or Erg Chebbi), where the camel caravan awaits. Luggage is transferred by 4×4 to the camp.
4:00 PM – Sunset Camel Trek
Begin your New Year’s journey with a scenic camel trek across the golden sand dunes. As the sun sets, enjoy breathtaking views and photo stops in the silence of the desert. The trek takes about 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the camp location.
5:30–6:00 PM – Arrival at Desert Camp
You’ll be welcomed at the camp with mint tea and Moroccan pastries. Settle into your private tent—choose from standard or luxury options equipped with beds, blankets, and private or shared bathrooms.
7:00 PM – Special New Year’s Eve Dinner
Enjoy a traditional Moroccan feast served under the stars or in the camp’s dining tent. Dishes may include harira soup, lamb or chicken tagine, couscous, grilled vegetables, and Moroccan sweets. Vegetarian options are available on request. Local wine can be arranged (if permitted).
