FIRST DAY: Merzouga hotel – Exploring Erg chebbi and camel trek – Overnight in Camp
This one-day desert adventure begins in the morning after breakfast with a camel ride from a hotel near the sand dunes, taking you straight into the heart of the Sahara. The camels, packed with all essentials, will take you on a scenic two-hour trek through stunning dunes, perfect for capturing photos. By midday, you’ll arrive at a picturesque oasis, where you can relax, take breathtaking photos, and enjoy a mesmerizing sunset.
Later, you’ll have time to hike to the highest dune for panoramic views of Erg Chebbi or try sandboarding for added excitement. After sunset, we’ll head to a cozy camp, where you’ll be greeted with Berber tea, followed by a delicious traditional dinner, and enjoy Berber drumming under a sky full of stars.
SECOND DAY: Camp – 4×4 Jeep to Merzouga
After watching the sunrise, you’ll enjoy breakfast and have a refreshing shower in your camp. Following this, you’ll have the option to return to Merzouga either by Jeep for a quicker journey or by camel for one last scenic ride.
